Tynomac's Introduction and Thanking all of YOU!
Tynomac Pack Attack on YouTube
Introduction and Thanks to Subscribers
Hi,
I'm Wes, aka-Tynomac. My kids and I recently started a hockey channel
on Youtube. We open packs of hockey cards... lots of packs. We trade,
buy and sell hockey cards with anyone who likes to collect cards. I
never properly introduced us so I will take this opportunity now to do
that.
As
I said my name is Wes and I am an industrial painter at Motor Coach
Industries, (MCI). Here is an example of the Coaches we produce.
I actually have had a youtube channel for about 5 years but never put a
whole lot on it. Then Tim Hortons came out with their hockey card series
for 16-17. My daughter was so into getting the whole set that it
reminded me how much I loved collecting hockey cards. The wife and I had
thousands of them stored away for the last 30 years or so. Anyway, we
got looking online for Tim Horton hockey cards and discovered lots of
youtubers uploading box breaks and pack openings. Well that was about
all it took. Hockey cards... videos... two things I totally enjoy.
Combine that with an excuse to bond with my daughter over her new found
interest and a monster was created.
So Tim Hortons series came and went and I had caught the bug all over
again. I soon found myself in a local card shop, here in Winnipeg,
purchasing hockey cards, and now here I am 140 + videos later absolutely
addicted to opening those little packages that can only be equated to
Christmas morning excitement with every pack we open. Not sure where we
were headed with the channel and no real plan we were opening packs and
making videos, (life was great). I soon decided to put some real effort
into our channel and try to give it some direction and goals. I wanted
it to be more than just pack openings and box breaks in order to give
our viewers and ourselves a purpose for going forward with the videos.
So I made thumbnails that went along with out vids and playlisted them
according to year and series. We are going to try and complete as many
years and series along with subsets as we possibly can. We currently
have approximately 4-5 thousand different hockey cards so setting a goal
of 25,000 different cards should be achievable over the next several
years and provide many videos and excitement along the way. We will
sell or trade our doubles as we go and perhaps a deal can be made with
you.
As a fellow card collector and part of a community of like minded people
I like to do what I can to help others with their collecting. In this
regard we at channel Tynomac want to make sure we are giving back to our
subscribers, viewers and fellow collectors. As our channel grows we
would like to have bigger and better GIVEAWAYS more often. So we would
like to thank all of our 440 subscribers thus far and everyone who
views, shares, comments, likes or dislikes our videos. Thank You...
Thank You so much. Without viewers and subscribers the channel is
nothing. When I look at the channel and see subs up I get excited and
motivated to carry on.
I know I may not have the most photogenic face, my voice may not be
refined for speaking on film and I might make a lot of mistakes but I am
always working on new ideas until we find what works. So I hope you
will join us on our journey for 25,000 different hockey cards and see
how many sets and series we manage to complete along the way. We promise
to do our best to entertain you in the process.
